A recent study by Obrella, a community focused insurance and analysis agency, lists Connecticut as the fourth safest State for car drivers. Connecticut has 2,486,000 licensed drivers and fatality rate of 9.94 per 100,000 drivers. Joining Connecticut in the top 10 were fellow New England States Massachusetts (number 1), Rhode Island (number 3) and New Hampshire (number 6).
Vermont followed at number 21. Maine was not listed because they do not have cars there yet. Just kidding, Maine came in at number 27.
