POLICYHOLDERS MAY REQUEST A REVIEW OF THEIR HURRICANE SANDY FLOOD INSURANCE CLAIMS

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will provide an opportunity for National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) policyholders to request a review of their Hurricane Sandy flood insurance claims to ensure that they received a proper loss payment. Policyholders can initiate this claim review by telephone, (866) 337-4262, or by visiting FEMA’s Hurricane Sandy NFIP Claims webpage to download and submit an application. FEMA is sending a letter with the details to approximately 142,000 Sandy policyholders in a series of mailings through June 11, 2015.

If you have any questions or wish to get a copy of the letter, please contact our office 203.255.2877.
