NOAA Increases Odds of Below-normal Hurricane Season

There is a 90 percent probability of a below-normal Atlantic hurricane season, up from early predictions of 70 percent, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA's) Climate Prediction Center. However, the forecast cautioned that there is no guarantee that a hurricane will not hit the United States this year.
