Warning: Insurance Scam In Connecticut

The Connecticut Insurance Department has issued a warning about a scam targeting the insurance-buying community. In the scam, a caller posing as an insurance company representative informs the consumer that his or her insurance policy will be canceled due to nonpayment and asks for the consumer’s credit-card information. You should never give their personal information, including credit-card information to an unsolicited phone call and if you have questions about your insurance policies, please call The Russell Agency directly.
