Most Large Insurers are not planning to withdraw from ACA

According to an analysis of insurer earnings calls by the Commonwealth Fund, most insurers are not discussing withdrawals from the Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplaces. UnitedHealthcare has exited the marketplaces in numerous states, and Humana is the only other insurer to explicitly state that it is considering doing so.

"Though insurers are likely to make changes to the number of products they offer and the markets they participate in, earnings calls and filings show that most of the large, publicly traded insurers remain committed to the marketplaces," says the analysis.
