Yale Medicine may end relationship with Anthem on October 6, 2016.

Due to a contract dispute, Yale Medicine has informed Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Connecticut that Yale Medicine will be leaving the Anthem network as of October 6, 2016. This is significant because Yale Medicine, formerly known as Yale Medical Group, is the medical practice that includes more than 1,400 Yale School of Medicine clinical faculty physicians. The CT Mirror recently did an excellent story on the potential split. The article can be accessed by clicking here.

Anthem has issued a Q&A for its members regarding the end of the relationship and how it will affect Anthem members. Please click here to read it.
