Fairfield Residents Encouraged to Sign Up/Update Information for Emergency Messages
First Selectman Mike Tetreau is encouraging Fairfield residents and businesses to sign up or update your contact information so you can receive CodeRED Emergency Messages from the Town. To register and learn more about CodeRED, or to update your contact information, please click on the following link: http://www.fairfieldct.org/codered.
Additionally, UI customers can register at https://www.uinet.com/wps/portal/uinet/myaccount/outagealerts to receive storm alerts and outage alerts through text, email and/or voice.
In emergency situations, Town officials can issue CodeRED messages to specific areas or to the entire Town. You will recognize the CodeRED call when your caller ID displays the following numbers:
- 866-419-5000 or Emergency Communication for Emergency Notifications
- 855-969-4636 or ECN Community for General Notifications
Please be sure to add these telephone numbers into your telephone's contacts, when applicable.
